Day 10 of CBI Investigation: Sushant Singh Rajput's Death Case ; Rhea's 3rd day of interrogation; Personal, Finance & Drug Angle questioned ; Gaurav Arya arrived

Today it was day 10 of the CBI investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput's Death Case. Rhea Chakraborty was called for the 3rd day of interrogation accompanied by her brother Showik Chakraborty; Siddhart Pithani & Deepesh Sawant became an official witness; Gaurav Arya arrived at Mumbai, to be interrogated by the ED tomorrow.

30^th August 2020:

It's the 10th day of the CBI Investigation at the DRDO guesthouse in Sushant Singh Rajput's Death case and today, Rhea Chakraborty was called for the CBI interrogation for the third consecutive day. Together with her the other suspects were also interrogated. This includes her brother Showik Chakraborty and the prime suspects present at the crime scene on the day of incident i.e. all 4 staff members of Sushant- Siddhart Pithani(flatmate & friend), Deepesh Sawant (Household Help), Keshav and Neeraj Singh (Cook & helper).

Samuel Miranda, who was the house manager of Sushant is being grilled more seriously than before after his drug chats with Rhea has revealed that were involved in drug dealing, not in smaller scale but there were retrieved chats that show that we're talking about bags of drugs. Shruti Modi (Rhea’s ex-manager & has also worked with Sushant for few months) was called at the DRDO for interrogation and the grip on her seems to tighten after the drug chats have come out and also news of Rhea’s close coordination with her regarding Sushant’s planning and finance.

Yesterday we came to know that Siddhart Pithani, the person who Claims to have brought the hanging body of Sushant down became an official witness and today the news came in that Deepesh Sawant (Sushant's household help) is also ready to become an official witness. This could be bad news for Rhea because now it means that they might reveal important evidence against her. 

There are reports that Siddharth Pithani has already given details and names to the CBI about those IT intruders who came on 8th of June and took and deleted all the digital data from Sushant's devices in 8 hard disks. Apart from this, he also claimed that that Deepesh Sawant, Neeraj Singh, Samuel Miranda was among the people involved in getting drugs and drug dealing on behalf of Rhea. 

SP Nupur Prasad of the CBI is said to be interrogating Rhea on many aspects - Personal, Financial, and Drug link-ups.  

Personal Aspect:

On a personal level, Rhea must have faced many questions. Some relevant questions could be like- How was her relationship with Sushant, Why did she leave his house on 8th of June, Did she leave temporarily or permanently, What arguments took place if any, Cause for those arguments, Were they having conflicts from many days, Her complete activity on 8th of June, What was she doing between 8th of June and 14th of June, What was she doing on 14thof June, Who gave her reports of Sushant's demise, What she did after hearing the news of his death, Who all she spoke to on that day. There could be other personal questions based on her chat and calls. Some of her chats where she is found talking to film director and producer 'Mahesh Bhatt' that finally she has finally moved on, gives an open clue that she decided to leave him permanently. And if this is true then what is the reason, etc. 

Financial Aspect:

On Financial level, she might have been asked about the share of expenses between her and Sushant as they were living together, Did she handled Sushant's finance, Any investments they did together, Money transaction between Sushant and her, Any property bought on her name with Sushant's money, Any other extravagant expenses, Does she know anything about the missing of 15cr from Sushant's account on which she is the prime accused by Sushant's family, their tour expenses, etc. 

Drug Angle: 

The most shocking angle of this entire case is the drug angle for which Rhea is answerable. She is being questioned about everything that’s related to her retrieved WhatsApp chat- Is she indulged in drugs (which is quite relevant from the recovered chats), From how long she had been doing drugs, Who all are involved, Are the people in the chats also took drugs or were they only the service persons, Is she into drug dealing, How many drugs peddler she knows, Are there anyone else from Bollywood who helps her with this, How does she know Gaurav Arya (the one she had been chatting about MDMA drug in 2017), From how long she, Samuel Miranda and other staff members of Sushant involved in drugs, Was Sushant aware of this that they were taking drugs, Was Sushant a part of it, Whose money was being used to buy these drugs, and the most expected one did she drugged Sushant and named it as a depression theory, etc.  

The list of questions could go on and on until and unless Rhea Chakraborty tells the truth about the finance, her drug story, people involved, and if she knows anything or has links to Sushant's mysterious death.

Gaurav Arya, the Goa-based Hotelier and the alleged drug dealer whose name surfaced after the deleted WhatsApp drug chats from Rhea's phone was retrieved, landed in Mumbai today as he is to be interrogated by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) tomorrow. At the airport, when asked by different media about his link with Rhea and drugs, he said, "I have met Rhea once back in 2017 and I have nothing to do with drugs". When asked whether he knows Sushant, he completely denied knowing him personally and said that he has never spoken to Sushant.

It is expected that Rhea will be called for the 4th day of the interrogation tomorrow. The others involved in this case will also be called. There are reports that Sushant's sister Meetu Singh will also be interrogated by the CBI tomorrow because it was Meetu who was living with Sushant from 8th of June (the day Rhea left) till the 12th of June. The staff in Sushant's house have told previously that she left on 12^th June for her own house as she has small kids to manage, and was on her way back to meet Sushant on 14th when she got a call midway that he has committed suicide. 

Now whether it's a suicide or homicide, the CBI is yet to get to it. But if it is a homicide then these four staff members who were present in the house; Siddharth Pithani, Deepesh Sawant, Neeraj Singh, and  Keshav, know a lot about the crime. It's for the coming days to tell how much they know and how much they can prove their points in Sushant’s death mystery.
