Day 9 of the CBI Investigation: Sushant SIngh Rajput Death Case ; Siddhart Pithani to become 'official witness'

Rhea Chakraborty was called for the second round of interrogation by the CBI at the DRDO guesthouse. She was accompanied by her brother Showik Chakraborty. They both reached the place at around 1:30 pm escorted by the Mumbai Police.

Yesterday Rhea filed a complaint to the Mumbai Police at SantaCruz Police station, asking for protection and escort while she is getting interrogated by the CBI and other agencies in the Sushant’s death case. She filed this complaint when she returned from her 10 hours interrogation by the CBI and found the media and cameras following her at all places, in fact even blocking her apartment’s gate.

Following which today the CBI also asked the Mumbai police to give her protection and escort while she is getting interrogated in this entire process.  Previously also she had been telling that she fears for her life, giving the circumstances going around her. CBI asked for it keeping in mind that all the outside intrusion could affect the ongoing investigation.

The other prime suspects present on the day of crime continued to be questioned. This includes Siddhart Pirhani (Sushant’s flatmate),  Neeraj Singh(Cook), Keshav(cook), Deepesh Sawant (Household help). As per reports Keshav & Neeraj told the CBI that Sushant never used to lock his room from inside and that they got suspicious when they found the room locked from inside. Apart from this Samuel Miranda (House Manager) is also being interrogated.

There are reports that CBI might conduct the “Polygraph Test” of Rhea if she doesn’t cooperate in the investigation. This test could also be conducted on other suspects who were present at the crime scene as there is a continuous discrepancy in their statements. Out of 4 suspects chances of Siddhart Pithani to be part of this test more.

What is a Polygraph Test?

A ‘Polygraph Test’ well known as a ‘lie detector test’, is a device or a procedure that is used to record several physiological indicators like pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and skin response while a person is asked series of questions and they answer it. The logic behind using the polygraph is that the deceptive answers will produce physiological responses that can be differentiated from those associated with non-deceptive answers. But however, the polygraph test has always been questioned for its authenticity as no physiological reaction could possibly accurately differentiate between the lie & the truth.

The biggest news of the day is that Siddhart Pithani, the one who claims to have brought Sushant’s hanging body down, agreed to  an ‘official witness’ in this case, which means that now he will speak from the official’s side and could counter-question and answer the other suspects.

On the other hand the Narcotic Control Bureau (NCB) has come in action from the time Rhea’s Whatsapp drug chats with various people surfaced. Since yesterday Both the Delhi NCB & Mumbai NCB are working in coordination as to how and from where to start tracking this entire drug trail. Today as a result of it they tracked down two drug peddlers in Mumbai and arrested them. The interrogation and further track down will continue.

Gaurav Arya (the alleged drug dealer) to whom the NCB sent notice, might get summoned in front of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) first on 31^st August, because ED was the one to retrieve and forward those drug chats to the CBI & NCB. And also since the drug matter is involved the ED has to look into the financial perspective as well; who was the one to give him money for drugs, was Rhea in direct contact with him, did he get money in cash or otherwise, how much of money was involved in all the drug dealing, etc.

The lie of the Mumbai police that Sushant google searched ‘painless death’ just before his demise has been exposed. When the mobiles and laptop of Sushant was submitted to the ED, they found out that Sushant google searched ‘properties in Coorg, Kerela & Himachal’. This proves that this investigation was not only not done properly but also tried to divert it to a suicide angle. Now, who is the actual culprit behind all this is yet to be discovered. Was Mumbai Police protecting Rhea? Were they working on someone else’s behalf? Is there any involvement of a Bollywood personality? Are big politicians involved? Whose order were they following? Was there any pressure? There are many questions as to why the Mumbai Police did not conduct a fair investigation in Sushant Singh’s death case.

Well, this case has all the big agencies involved now. Previously only ED was working, then the CBI came in, and now with all the drug angle to it, the NCB has to jump in as well. The Hope of billions of people for Justice in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case awaits.
