Sushant Singh Rajput's Death Case : Bihar DGP's comment on Supreme Court Order for a CBI probe

Bihar DGP 'Gupteshwar Pandey' who was looking into Sushant Singh Rajput's case very closely after his family registered an FIR at Patna is very happy after the apex court announced a CBI investigation in this matter. He has been continuously monitoring the case and fighting the alleged Mumbai police unprofessionalism into Sushant's death case.

Gupteshwar Pandey said, " I am very happy. This is a victory of justice against injustice. This is also a victory of 130 crore Indians people's emotions."

"The verdict given by the honorable Supreme courts, in this case, has won hearts and increased the faith in 1.3 billion Indian people. It has strengthened the already existing faith in the apex court and made it more determined. It has also strengthened people's faith in democracy. Now there is hope in the heart of people and that there will definitely be justice in Sushant Singh Rajput's death. This is big news for the entire nation and the entire nation was waiting for this verdict", said Bihar DGP Gupteshwar Pandey.  

He also said that a lot of blame has been put on us (the Bihar police) and that our FIR was stated illegal and against the jurisdiction. We were not allowed to investigate the matter. The IPS officer who was sent from Patna was treated as a prisoner and was quarantined at midnight in Mumbai despite been given prior notice of his arrival. He added this action of Mumbai police was completely illegal, unethically, and unprofessional. Because of this action of Mumbai police people thought there is something definitely wrong in Sushant's death investigation. 

Bihar DGP continued and said," the apex court has put a stamp that our actions, in this case, were fully lawful and judicial. The stands taken by the Bihar police was absolutely correct and that the entire nation came to know that they were not doing anything wrong. Their intentions were correct and that they were working in the right direction with an honest mindset to provided justice to Sushant Singh."

Further, he mentioned that there were people who were tensioned and anxious for a fair investigation in this case and tried hard not to let Bihar Police investigate and also tried not to let the matter go to CBI.

Commenting on the accused, in this case, Rhea Chakraborty (Sushant's girlfriend) said Rhea holds no position to comment on anything about or on Bihar's Chief Minister 'Nitish Kumar'. The statement came as a result of Rhea's allegation of the political interest of the Bihar government in this matter.

Gupteshwar Pandey, the Bihar DGP, also stated that the support of Bihar Government and the Bihar Chief Minister in Sushant’s death case has been immense and that the matter reached this stage because of his continued support and efforts.
