Day 13th of investigation

2nd September 2020:

It's the 13th day of the investigation in Sushant's death case where all the top of the agencies of the nation; Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Enforcement Directorate(ED), and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB); are working in correlation to solve the mystery of this case which has now taken a different picture, in which the drug pixels are getting wider and wider with each passing day. The NCB is now carrying out more field action than just interrogation.

To start with today once again Rhea's father, Indrajit Chakraborty, was called by the CBI at the DRDO guesthouse for interrogation. It's his second day at the DRDO and CBI is questioning him in all matters, whether it's related to Sushant's death, His hands in Sushant's finance, or whether it's knowing about his children being involved in drug consumption and drug dealing. Most probably CBI is also questioning him the same questions they asked Rhea and Showik just to join the dots and see if they match or there are some discrepancies.

Apart Indrajit Chakraborty, Siddhart Pithani ( Sushant's flatmate and the person who claims to have brought the hanging body of Sushant's down) also arrived at the DRDO.

As far as ED is concerned, today they interrogated Varun Mathur, who is former business partner of Sushant. Sushant together with two other members, Varun mathur and Saurav Mishra opened a private limited company in 2018. Varun Mathur was a director in that company. As per reports it seemed that though Sushant was also the director in that company, he was not much involved in it. Hence, ED summoned Varun Mathur to know about the money aspect of the business, so that they could gather information on Sushant's suspicious financial muddle.

ED also collected digital evidence from Gaurav Arya, the Goa base hotelier who is an alleged drug peddler (as his chats with Rhea regarding drugs had surfaced), ED cloned all his digital devices to collect evidence and investigate his drug involvements.

Coming to NCB, there job is getting intense and they seem to be in full action. Since the time NCB has received information by the ED; about drug consumption
, its Procurement and transportation; they have been catching hold of different drug peddlers, raiding different places across Mumbai to dig deeper into this drug Nexus.

Since the time Rhea's brother Showik Chakraborty's drug Chat have been accessed, the momemtum is drug investigation has increased.

Two more drug peddlers were caught by the NCB today named Zaid Viltara and Abdul Basit Parihar.

Zaid Viltara confessed to the NCB that he knows Showik Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda (Sushant's house manager). Zaid said that he did have drug dealings with both of them. As per call records, on 17th March 2020, instruction were given by Showik to Samuel Miranda to collect illegal and banned drugsfrom Zaid. Zaid said that he sold 5g of drug for Rs 10,000 to Showik. He also said that the money was always paid in cash.
When research was carried out it was even found that Samuel Miranda and Zaid's location on 17th March was same which further proves Viltara's confession.

The catch here is that Rhea had said before that his brother doesn't work currently and that he doesn't have any income source, then the big question arises as to whose money was Showik using to buy these drugs? Was that Sushant's money which Rhea and her brother was using to buy drugs via Samuel Miranda? Was all Sushant's hard earned money was washed away by Rhea and her family in drug dealing?
Well, this is pretty much evident from Zaid Viltara, a drug peddler's confession. He has been arrested by the NCB.

Abdul Basit was raided because his name also popped up in Showik's drug chat. He is taken into custody and is being interrogated.

With the arrest of these small drug peddlers residing in different parts of Mumbai and other places, chances of dugging out bigger names through them is speeding up. We will have to wait and see what unfolds next.
