Day 15 of CBI investigation

It's the 15th day in the investigation of Sushant Singh Rajput's Death case. The investigation which initially began to probe the cause of death of Sushant Singh Rajput, has now taken a wider turn to its probe, an unexpected angle to it. The top agencies who intially started investigating and those glued to Sushant's case, had never thought that this case will end into something bigger than just being mysterious.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) was the first one to starts it's probe, including summoning Rhea and others involved with Sushant, basically to check any money laundering aspect in the case before the CBI came in. And it was again ED who handed over shocking WhatsApp drug chats retrieved from Rhea's phone that gave this case a whole new territory to explore and disinfect. Since then the NCB team has come into the scenario and for time being theyt are the ones who are on grounds and are actually in action.

Since a week Narcotic Control Bureau (NCB) has come into action, many drug peddlers in and around Mumbai have been nabbed. They are been interrogated and big names are coming up. And all this began with the chats that were retrieved from Rhea and her brother Showik's phone. The chats between Showik and Samuel Miranda (Sushant's house manager) clearly show that they were not only taking drugs but also providing it to others. Samuel Miranda acted as a mediator to provide drug to Showik and Rhea. This means that he was directly in touch with drug peddlers. Even seperate chats of Showik shows that he himself was buying drugs directly from the dealers. Thus both were part of a drug dealing gang. NCB gathered enough proof against Rhea and her associates involved in Drug matters specially Showik and Samuel Miranda to file a case against them.

As of result of which, the first actual action against people involved in Sushant's death case has been taken today by the NCB. 

NCB carried out a raid in Showik and Samuel Miranda's house today at early morning around 6.30 am.

The raid at Rhea's apartment at Juhu was carried out for almost 3 to 4 hours. The entire flat was searched including their car for any evidence related to drugs. Senior most officials of NCB and local police arrived to carry out this raid. Sowik's personal laptop and other digital devices were seized.

Sameul Miranda was also raided and taken into custody for further interrogation by the NCB. 

Following which a summon was given to Showik. Keeping in mind all the media questioning , gathering and harassment, he told the officials to take him with them. The NCB then took Showik Chakraborty into custody for interrogation.

The latest blast to this case happened at the end of the day that both Showik Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda have been arrested by the NCB based on facts and evidences. As per protocols they will now be summoned into the court and further procedure will be carried out.

Another event that took place just after the arrest of Showik and Miranda was that NCB took Deepesh Sawant (Sushant's Household help) into custody .
